East Troy Community School District

Here in the East Troy Community School District, we believe that students who continue learning during the summer are better prepared for the next school year and are less likely to lose the knowledge and skills they worked so hard to gain. We are excited to offer a variety of enrichment courses for students in four-year-old kindergarten (4K) through 12th grade designed to foster your child’s love of learning.

Elementary (4K-5) | Monday-Thursday | June 16-July 10* | 8:00-11:45 am

Middle School (6-8) | Monday-Thursday | June 16-July 10* | 7:55-11:55am

SSAC [Weights] (6-11) | Monday-Thursday | June 16-July 10* | 7:55-11:55am

High School For Credit | Monday-Thursday | June 16-July 17* | 7:55-11:55 am

High School Credit Recovery | Monday-Thursday | June 16-July 10* | 7:55-11:55 am

*There will be no classes held on Thursday, July 3rd.

All course scheduling must be done online via Family Access. Courses are filled on a first-come first-served basis.

Online Registration Instructions

Busing Group Stops

Bus service is available to and from summer school. During online registration, parents will choose their preferred AM and PM stops. Note: If it is not safe for a student to walk, parents are expected to drop off and pick up their student(s) from designated group stops. Parents are expected to provide their own transportation when their student(s) is enrolled in less than three classes. Students with a partial schedule must leave the school building at the end of their classes. The District is not responsible for supervising students once they leave the buildings. In order to ride the bus to and from summer school, the student must have a full schedule. Private & Homeschool Students

We welcome parochial, private, homeschooled and enrolled out students to enroll in our summer school program, although prior to online registration, your child must be active in our database. Folllow the instructions below to enroll your child(ren) in summer school.

NEVER ATTENDED ETCSD - Complete an new student online enrollment application.
ATTENDED LAST YEAR - Your child(ren) is enrolled and your Family Access account is active.
PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED SUMMER SCHOOL - Email your child(ren) name(s) to dralis@easttroy.k12.wi.us to enroll your child(ren) and have your Family Access account activated.

Once your child has been enrolled and/or is active in our database, you can request a Family Access username and password and complete summer school registration via Family Access.

Band Lessons

Summer Band Lessons are held one day a week for 20 minutes. 5th Grade Band Lessons are held on Thursdays at Little Prairie Primary. 6th-8th Grade Band Lessons are held on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays at the East Troy High School.

If a student is enrolled in other Summer School courses, they will leave their scheduled course to attend their band lesson and then return to class once the band lesson is complete. There is no fee for summer band lessons

SCHEDULING WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE REGULAR SUMMER SCHOOL ONLINE REGISTRATION DATES.

You may schedule a band lesson using the BAND LESSON FORM.

Recommended Students

Getting Ready for 5K, Recommended Math and Recommended Reading courses are ONLY offered to teacher recommended students. Please make sure to register your child for these courses if they were recommended.

Any student that enrolls in a Support Course that was not recommended, will be removed from the class roster.

Fees

If you have registered your child(ren) and they will not be attending, contact Amanda Smith at smiama@easttroy.k12.wi.us. Course fees will only be refunded if the student is withdrawn prior to the first day of summer school.

Non-Resident Tuition Fee

There will be a $100 non-resident tuition fee for summer school enrollment. Students who currently have open-enrollment status or those who have filed for open-enrollment for the 2024-25 school year do NOT have to pay the non-resident tuition fee.

Students should not show up on the first day of Summer School without being enrolled in classes. Should this occur, parents will be contacted to pick their child up immediately.
