District Enrollment Overview
District enrollment is a one-time process that should not be mistaken for the annual online registration conducted in August. The annual online registration is specifically for students who attended East Troy Schools during the previous school year or have already completed the online enrollment process before.
(1) Request an Online Enrollment Account
To initiate the online enrollment process, please click HERE.
Please note that this login is exclusively for accessing the online enrollment portal and does not grant access to Family Access. Instructions to retrieve your Family Access login details can be found on the login page once your child has been enrolled and is active for the school year.
(2) Complete the Online Enrollment Process
Upon receiving your enrollment request, the district will promptly send you an email containing your login credentials, password information, and a link to finalize the student enrollment process.
(3) Provide Proof of Age & Residency
Residency Requirement: Any student seeking entrance into the East Troy Community School District must reside within the established boundaries of the district, unless otherwise provided by state law or board policy. Students may also be admitted as tuition students or through open enrollment. Please refer to the board policy for more information.

A student must be six years old on or before September 1 to enroll.

Early Admission: In limited and specific circumstances, a child whose birth date does not meet the enrollment requirements stated above may apply for early admission. Applicants for early admission must meet standards, conditions, and procedures established by the Board. The guidelines can be found in the board policy 421.
During the online enrollment process, you will be prompted to submit documents as proof of your child's age and residency, in compliance with the state of WI regulations. Documentation can also be provided via email or in person.

Lease Agreement: Include current address, names of individuals residing at the address, effective date, and signatures of all parties.

Current Utility Bill (within 45 days): Accepted bills include gas, electric, cable, or city/village water, showing the name and current address.

Home Purchase Agreement or Offer to Purchase: Provide buyer and seller names, along with the current address.

Recent correspondence from a governmental entity: Acceptable proof includes tax bills, assessment letters, or documents from the department of motor vehicles, displaying the name and current address.

Recent correspondence on a wage statement or W2 year-end earnings statement: Ensure the name and current address are visible.

Affidavit of Residency: If you reside with a district resident, please refer to district forms.

Exceptions: Homeless students, as defined in the McKinney-Vento Act, may have certain exceptions.
(4) Complete Annual Online Registration
