The mission of the ETE PTO is to raise funds for supplemental services, programs & supplies. Coordinate volunteer participation and provide financial support for school programs & enrichment activities. Host extra-curricular activities that support family involvement. 

What We Do...

• Folders and Calendar Magnets - The PTO provides each student with a "Communicator" folder at the beginning of the year that is used daily by teachers to send important information home to parents. We also supply families with calendar magnets that showcase important dates for elementary students.
• Fine Arts Program - The PTO provides funds for the Fine Arts Program. Some students have their first experience with live entertainment, a symphony or an opera because of this funding.
• Hooked on Fishing - The PTO sponsors the 5th grade fishing field trip.
• PBIS - The PTO helps support PBIS endeavors by helping fund school-wide celebrations, classroom celebrations, t-shirts, signage, literature, etc.
• Playground Equipment - The PTO provides funds to purchase Playground Equipment, as the budget allows.
• Reading Comes Alive Week - The PTO sponsors the educational entertainment during Reading Comes Alive week.
• Pumpkin Carving & Walk - Each year the PTO, in cooperation with the East Troy Chamber of Commerce, organizes the annual pumpkin carving & walk. Grades 3-5 carve pumpkins. The pumpkins and luminaries are displayed on the village square.  The walk is free and open to the public.
• Book Fairs - The PTO hosts two book fairs for each elementary school per academic year. At each fair, the students receive a FREE book from the PTO. That's 2 free books a year per student!  Check out the PTO calendar for dates & times.
• Birthday Celebrations - PTO funds allow every student to receive an ice cream treat during school lunch to celebrate their birthday month. 
• Staff Appreciation - The PTO provides meals for staff during parent/teacher conferences, reimburses teachers for classroom purchases and provides monthly treats for staff. 
• Family Fun - The PTO hosts family focused events including a Dance Party, Movie Night, Skate Night, Game Night and more!

Get Involved

Come to the PTO meetings!  Held the third Wednesday of every month at 6 PM at the Little Prairie Cafeteria.

• Free child care is provided!
• Find out when upcoming events are occurring! 
• Have a concern? Principals and teachers attend the meetings, come ask!
• Have an idea? We love new ideas, come share!

Volunteer!  The PTO is only able to provide wonderful events with the support of the East Troy community. Please consider volunteering to help keep these opportunities available!

Help us obtain funds! We utilize many avenues to obtain funds for the events that we support and ways we give back to our students, teachers and families.  See below for different ways to help:
