Board Policy 470I. Report cards and records will not be withheld because of unpaid obligations but notices to the parents will be sent following the first and second quarters. II. Fees for athletic/extra-curricular activities must be paid at the time of the start of the respective activity, or will may result in non-eligibility for participation. III. Unpaid obligations will result in loss of privileges for end of year of activities including high school graduation ceremonies, middle school end of year field trips, or other activities unrelated to curricular requirement. IV. Unpaid Obligations may be sent to a collection agency. Refund GuidelinesFees are collected in a timely manner so that school personnel may order consumable supplies for the classroom, athletics, and other activities. Therefore, only students who withdraw prior to the first day of school will receive a refund for current school year payments made to date. Please note: Any lunch account money, pending the balance is over $5.00, will also be reimbursed if requested with the Food Service Supervisor. The only exception to these refunds once a student has been in attendance, are for MS/HS sports that have not yet begun, or MS/HS class schedule changes within 10 days of the start of the class. For example, a student registers for spring baseball and withdraws in the fall; the baseball fee is reimbursable. HS Yearbooks will be reimbursed up to January 1 – after that date the yearbooks have been ordered with final numbers and the student will receive a yearbook. HS Parking fees will be reimbursed for any complete trimester in which the student is not enrolled at 1/3 of the fee. |
