East Troy Robotics and Engineering Club (ETREC) |

Open to all high school students. The eTREC robotics team gives students an opportunity to learn mechanical and software engineering principles and methodologies in a creative, hands-on, and collaborative manner. From September thru April, team members will design, build, test and program a robot to compete in the FIRST FTC tournament. Students will learn how to use many tools including a 3D printer, drill-press, metal lathe, vertical mill, welder, sheet-metal tools, table saw, band saw, and hand tools. No prior knowledge of tools or robotics is required. The main goal of the team is to learn about robotics while having fun! Come learn with us. |

National Honor Society (NHS)

NHS is an academic honor for students who achieve in the classroom and in the community. After 2nd trimester Junior year, students with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average are invited to apply. Applications are reviewed and membership voted on by the faculty council. Students are evaluated on community service, leadership activities and character. Once inducted into NHS, students meet monthly. NHS members are involved in service activities such as crossing guard and blood drives. |

Strings Club

|
The string club is made up of students wishing to learn how to play a string instrument or continue playing on one that they already have.
Music to be learned will be tailored to the level the student is at. String musicians from UW Whitewater will help tutor students as we work through lessons. The goal of the group will be to put together at least one piece of music for performance in the spring. The method book we use is "ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS for STRINGS vol 1, vol 2, and vol 3. Students have to get their own instruments which can be rented for the local music stores.
