It is hard to believe, but the end of the year is upon us. We have had a great year of learning, growth, and discovery. We have enjoyed our time with your little ones and have appreciated your involvement and commitment to your child’s education. Thank you!
As the year wraps up, please keep in mind the following:
* If your child is missing an item of clothing or perhaps a water bottle please ask him/her to check the lost and found. All items that are not claimed will be donated to charity this summer.
* If you haven’t already done so, it’s not too late to purchase a yearbook. Our yearbook is elementary wide, and therefore includes pictures of Little Prairie and Prairie View students and staff. The cost is $20.00. Quantities are limited and they will be sold on a first come first served basis. If you wish to purchase one, you can send the money to school with your child. Please place the money in an envelope with your child’s name and his/her teacher’s name written on it.
As you know, we have worked hard here at Little Prairie this year on displaying behavior that is respectful, responsible, safe, and caring both in school, as well as at home and in the community. In an effort to extend these behaviors into the summer months, your child will be bringing home a PBIS Summer BINGO Board. This is intended to be a fun activity you can participate in as a family. Completed boards can be turned in to the Little Prairie or Prairie View offices at any time during the summer, or at Ready Set Go Conferences in August for a prize.
If you have a child attending Summer School, please note that Summer School begins on Monday, June 15th, and runs Mondays-Thursdays from 8:00-11:45 until July 9th .
