Announcements and Reminders

General Announcements

  • REMINDER: Please do not drop off or pickup students on Graydon Avenue. Not only is this unsafe for our students, it slows down the traffic flow. Our new parking lot allows the drop off of students in a timely manner and should be utilized. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
  • We have had several students arrive at school as early as 6:30am. Please remember that we cannot provide supervision for those students. Our doors open at 7:25am, which is when supervision is available.
  • Students that stay after for the fitness center should not leave the building after school and need to be picked up promptly at 4:30 pm.
  • If the weather is below 32 degrees, students must wear a coat to go outside during lunch. Boots are required if they want to leave the blacktop.

A message from our Library

Is your student competing in the Battle of the Books?  Battles begin on Monday, December 8th during WIN; just three short weeks away! Participants have been checking in with their teams and at the library to be sure they are up to date. Battle books are available in the library and also through our e-book provider, SORA. New to SORA is the availability to check out up to two Battle Books with no waiting until December 5th! Below is a link to the MS library site for access to SORA and other valuable sites. Happy reading!

Happy Fall from your East Troy Library Staff! Today we’re passing along a fun and helpful website available to all Wisconsinites called Badgerlink. Badgerlink is Wisconsin's online library which provides free access to a wide range of licensed digital resources like magazines, journals, newspapers, and databases. Badgerlink is available to kids from one to ninety-two.

Getting together with family this holiday season? Check out HeritageQuest to look up your family history. Need a reference for repairing your snowmobile? Check out Chilton Library or Small Engine Repair Source. There are so many quality and trusted resources available!

Students can find the site by going to their Clever portal and choosing the Library Media Center, then simply click on Badgerlink or any of our other online resources such as SORA and Comics Plus. https://sites.google.com/easttroy.k12.wi.us/etmslibrary/home

Music Boosters

Do you have a band or choir student? No doubt you’ve enjoyed the wonderful performances and the upcoming concerts will no doubt get you into the spirit of the season.
Helping to make the music happen in our schools is the East Troy Music Boosters, a charitable volunteer group made up of adults, students, and staff who add the cherry on top of our outstanding music program. Booster members assist with concerts, spirit wear, solo & ensemble, and of course, fund raising.
Since 2001 Boosters have provided over $235,000 to support the ET Music Program!  Highlights include financial support for HS trips (Disney, Nashville, New York and more!), MS tickets to Milwaukee theater, new instruments, choir robes and so on.
Interested? Chat with a music director, attend monthly Booster meetings, and follow the Boosters via Facebook at East Troy Music Boosters, Inc.
Help out a little or a lot; it’s up to you. Signup Genius links are created by the directors when help is needed.
Booster meetings start at 6pm at the HS band room and last about an hour. Upcoming meetings are: 12/3/25, 1/7/26, 2/4/26, 3/4/26, 4/8/26, 5/6/26, 6/3/26. You can attend virtually - just ask for the link from any music educator or from the Facebook page. Join in on the fun and make great memories while your student grows musically.

Scheduling Meetings with Staff

We kindly ask that parents and guardians schedule a meeting in advance when wishing to speak with a staff member. Our staff have full schedules throughout the day, and unannounced visits can be difficult to accommodate.

We absolutely understand that emergencies can arise, and in those cases, we will do our best to assist right away. However, for all other matters, please reach out by phone or email to set up a meeting time. This helps ensure that staff can give you their full attention and that your concerns are addressed effectively.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain a productive and respectful environment for both staff and students.
