Food Service

The East Troy Community School District's Food Service Program is dedicated to providing students with nutritious, balanced meals that support their academic success and well-being. By participating in the USDA National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, the district ensures that all meals meet or exceed federal nutrition standards. The program offers a variety of meal options to accommodate diverse dietary needs and preferences. With a focus on wellness and nutrition education, East Troy's Food Service Program strives to create a positive dining experience that fosters healthy eating habits among students.

  • We utilize a computer-based accounting system that functions similar to a debit card.  Each student is given a confidential food service number and ID card that is entered/scanned at meal time.  All students in the family share the same funds for food service.  You can check account balances and transaction history via Food Service in Family Access.  Students are expected to maintain a positive food service balance.  Service may be suspended for delinquent accounts.  See board policy 761 for more information.

  • We accept online credit/debit card payments via Food Service in Family Access.  A minimal convenience fee may be applied to this transaction.  Each school has a food service drop box for cash/check payments.  Checks are preferred and can be made payable to: East Troy Community School District- Food Service Dept.  Payments should be in an envelope clearly marked with the child's first and last name.

  • Free/Reduced applications can be completed after July 1 for the upcoming school year. In mid-October, all families who have not completed a new application or have not been direct certified will change to a paid status and will be charged full price for meals. Also, your status must be free or reduced for this school year in order to receive lower priced registration fees (annual fee waiver must be completed-see forms).

    • Low balance phone calls will be made to families with $5.00 or less in their account
    • Negative balance phone calls are made nightly to families with a negative balance
