Any student seeking entrance into the East Troy Community School District must reside within the established boundaries of the district (show below) except as otherwise provided by state law or board policy, a tuition student, or admitted under open enrollment.
A student must be four years old on or before September 1 to enroll in 4 year Kindergarten
A student must be five years old on or before September 1 to enroll in Kindergarten
A student must be six years old on or before September 1 to enroll in 1st grade
In limited and specific circumstances, a child whose birth date does not meet the date requirements set forth above may apply to the Board for early admission. Applicants for early admission must meet standards, conditions, and procedures adopted by the Board. The guidelines can be found in the board policy 421.

Annual online registration is intended for all currently enrolled students and is usually held during the first week of August. Information is posted online, in the summer newsletter and also emailed to families in late July. Instructions are available via the website and are also available in the school offices.
In-house registration is held for all students in early August at Prairie View Elementary School. Student pictures/ID’s will be taken. Health Services, Food Service and transportation staff will be available for questions.
Teachers, schedules and 4K sessions can be viewed in Family Accessafter online registration has been completed. This information can be found on the schedule tab. Elementary teachers are found in the Character Traits course. For 4K, if the last letter of you child's teacher is a 'A', your child will be in the morning session. If the last letter of your child’s teacher is a ‘P’, your child will be in the afternoon session. For example, WILKA is AM, WILKP is PM.
All student pictures will be taken during In-house registration. To prepay for portrait packages, go to: www.schoolandsportpics.com. Click on: School Prepay - Enter numeric code:
or use the package envelope that was provided to your child at the end of the school year. All students are strongly encouraged to have their picture taken during in-house registration for their ID - even if you have registered online or do not purchase a portrait package. Picture retakes will be available in the fall.
After In-House Registration
Each student will receive a child safety card with their personalized shoot key on it when the picture packages arrive to order online. If you would like to order in the meantime, you can place an order over the phone with a credit card, or mail the order envelope to:
There are registration fees which will be collected during online/in-house registration in August. Click here for the list of fees.
The general registration fee is in order to partially offset all of the consumables in each building's and/or off-site educational budget, workbooks, rental of textbooks and technology related implementation costs district-wide. These costs include but are not limited to individual use items for tablets and chromebooks, license fees, monitoring applications for filtering and theft recovery, student usage reports, emergency charging stations, online apps and online textbooks. These fees are not directly associated to having a device-therefore fees are still charged even if the student brings his/her own device.
The East Troy School District also may charge additional consumable fees at various times during the school year for field trips and courses in order to supplement basic curriculum with outstanding and enriching student opportunities.
Board Policy 470
Fees or athletic/extra-curricular activities must be paid at the time of the start of the respective activity, or may result in non-eligibility for participation. Balance notifications will be sent following the 1st and 2nd quarters. Unpaid obligations will result in loss of privileges for end of year activities including high school graduation ceremonies, middle school end of year field trips, or other activities unrelated to curricular requirement.
To retrieve your login information, click on Family Access under Secure Login and then click on "Forgot your login or password?", enter your email address in the space provided and click on 'submit'.
If it matches the email address the district has on file, you will be sent an email from firstname.lastname@example.org containing your login and a link that can be used to reset your password. Be sure that your spam filter is set to allow these emails through.
If your address is not found in our database, send it to email@example.com along with your child's name and your name or call 262-642-6720 x3225.
Parents/Guardians (except those barred by court order) may have access to their child’s grades, attendance, schedules and other information via Skyward Family Access. Please call your child's school to have your email address added to the database so that you can retrieve your username and password.
Each parent/guardian has their own Family Access account. Each user is responsible for their individual login information and should take all reasonable precautions to prevent others from being able to use their account.
School administrators have set guidelines for timely entry of grades, teacher notes, and attendance, and further expect that the staff will follow these guidelines. Please check with the individual building for guidelines.
SMS Mobile works on Skyward's mobile platform, including Windows tablets and mobile devices, and allows you to access all their critical data through SMS mobile, too, including student schedules, grades, and attendance information. Parents can even email their students' teachers right through SMS Mobile!

Click on RevTrak under Secure Login then click on "Password Reminder" in the menu on the left and enter your email in the space provided. You will receive your password within a few minutes. If you don't receive it:
Check your spam folder – the email may have been blocked, or
You do not have a password associated with this email - checkout as a new customer.
When logging in for the first time, use your child’s first and last name formatted as firstname.lastname for both the username and password. Click Login. Enter your email address and answer a security question on the next screen. The next screen will show you a list of your students. Click on a child’s name for route information.
To change your password, click on Options – Change User Profile in the upper menu.
To retrive your username, after logging in for the first time, Click on "Forgot your username and password" and enter your email address.

The district uses Skylert, an auto notification system. West Interactive Service Corporation's Skylert is a fully hosted notification platform used to connect parents, students and staff through voice, SMS text, and email.
Currently this system is used for building-level, food service, busing and emergency messages and attendance notifications.
EMERGENCY: An emergency notification could include, but not limited to, messages about school closings or delays due to inclement weather or other emergency situations that may arise during school hours.
ATTENDANCE: The families of students whose absences have not been verified with a parent/guardian by 9:00 am will receive an automated phone call. You have an option to leave a return message for the main office. We are hoping this change will serve as an additional safety measure to ensure all students are arriving at school as planned.
FOOD SERVICE: Families who have a negative and/or low balance will receive an automated phone call at or around 5:00 pm.
Parents will receive a phone call to the primary phone and parent/guardian cell phone numbers listed in Skyward. The primary phone number listed in Skyward does not need to be a landline to receive a notification.
Emails are sent to the first email address in Skyward. Emails are not sent for attendance.
If your phone numbers/emails have changed, please log into Family Access to request changes or contact the building administrative assistant to have this information updated in Skyward. Please allow 1-2 days for information to be updated.
Note: This number is used for all SchoolMessenger notifications. Changes will also affect how you are contacted regarding messages about inclement weather and school emergencies.
The families of students whose absences have not been verified with a parent/guardian by 8:00 am may receive an automated phone call placed to the primary phone and parent/guardian cell phone numbers listed in Skyward. The building secretary may not have been able to get to your message before 8:15 am or your call was made while the automated calls were already in progress.
Be sure to check with your child to make sure that your in-person payment was put in the payment box prior to 9 am. In-person payments after 9 am and online payments after 3 pm, are not included in the data that is pulled from Skyward for that day's notifications. If payment is received after data has been imported, you may still receive a call and/or email.
A student who receives free/reduced meals may have a negative balance if they choose to purchase an extra milk or a la carte menu options. A la carte menu options are not included in a free/reduced meal. If funds have not been deposited into a student’s account and they purchase an a la carte menu item, this would cause their account to go negative.
