Inclement Weather

Student safety is our main concern in making a decision relating to school delays or school closings.  When inclement weather requires the closing of school, delayed starts, or early release, families will be alerted through the Skylert notification system.  Information will also be available on the district website and the local TV stations.  If a decision is made to close school for the day or to close school early due to inclement weather, all after school practices and evening activities/events will be cancelled.

Prairie View Elementary Announcements

Food Drive

During the week of Feb. 20-24, students at Prairie View Elementary are collecting non-perishable food items for members of our local community.  Our goal is to collect at least 1 item for every child at Prairie View. (420 students) This food drive was started by three students in Mrs. Kiesow’s 4th grade classroom.  The students connected Valentine’s Day, with the need to be kind and help others who may not have the basic essentials.  They have hung posters around the school, met with an East Troy food pantry representative and shared their idea with all of their classmates. Each day our students will go around to each class collecting the items.  Please allow your child to look through your cupboard for items to bring to school.  On behalf of our school and the ET food pantry.  Thank you!

Lost & Found

It is recommended that student's names be placed in all coats, hats, sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes and backpacks. If you’re missing an item, please visit the lost and found tables located on the east wall of the cafeteria. Unclaimed items will be donated to a charitable organization.
